Abstract

The goal of this project is to create a contextually oriented e-student worksheet (e-LKPD) that will help students practice critical thinking when studying exponent content. Using the ADDIE development paradigm, which comprises the phases of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, this kind of research is known as research and development (R&D). The research subjects were grade X students at SMK PGRI 3 Sidoarjo in the 2024/2025 academic year. The e-LKPD product was developed using the Liveworksheets platform by integrating four critical thinking indicators according to Facione, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The validation results showed that the e-LKPD met the “valid” criteria with a percentage of 80.88%, practicality of 89.73% (very practical), and effectiveness as indicated by an increase in critical thinking scores from a pretest average of 40.30 to a posttest average of 79.77. In addition, the results of the student response questionnaire showed a percentage of 76% in the “good” category. Thus, the developed contextual-based e-LKPD proved to be valid, practical, and effective for use in mathematics learning.
