Submission Withdrawal
Authors who submit a manuscript to DINASIF are considered to have committed to the full editorial process until a final decision is made. Withdrawing a manuscript during peer review consumes the time and effort of editors and reviewers. Therefore, manuscripts may only be withdrawn for valid reasons and in accordance with the following provisions.
Withdrawal Before Peer Review
Authors may withdraw a manuscript that has not yet been sent to reviewers without any consequence, by submitting a written request to the editorial office.
Withdrawal During Peer Review or After Acceptance
A manuscript that is under review or has been accepted but not yet published may only be withdrawn for valid reasons, such as:
- the discovery of serious errors in the data, methods, or results that cannot be corrected through revision;
- an authorship dispute that cannot be resolved;
- issues concerning research ethics, copyright, or permission to use data.
Withdrawal requests must be submitted by the corresponding author via the editorial email, stating the reason for withdrawal and including written consent from all authors. The editors will assess the request and provide written confirmation.
Submission to Another Journal
Authors may not submit the same manuscript to another journal before receiving withdrawal confirmation from the DINASIF editors.
Withdrawal Without Valid Reason
Published Articles
Published articles cannot be withdrawn through the submission withdrawal mechanism. Requests to withdraw a published article are handled in accordance with the Corrections & Retractions page.
