Post-Publication Discussions
DINASIF supports open and constructive scholarly discussion of published articles. Readers may submit comments, questions, critiques, or findings concerning an article, including concerns about errors in data, methods, or interpretation of results.
How to Submit Comments
Comments should be submitted in writing to the DINASIF editorial email and include:
- the sender’s identity (name and affiliation);
- the title, DOI, and issue of the article concerned;
- a description of the comment supported by adequate arguments and scholarly references.
Anonymous comments, comments unrelated to the article’s content, or personal attacks will not be considered.
Editorial Handling
- 1 The Editor-in-Chief reviews the comment to assess its relevance and scholarly basis.
- 2 Relevant comments are forwarded to the corresponding author for a response within a specified period.
- 3 The discussion and the author’s response are documented by the editors and may serve as the basis for a correction if necessary.
- 4 If the discussion reveals an error in the article, the editors will act in accordance with the Corrections & Retractions page. If it indicates misconduct, it will be handled in accordance with the Research Misconduct page.
Discussions on External Platforms
The editors also follow up on substantive comments raised on external scholarly discussion platforms or other media when brought to their attention, using the same procedure.
