Digital Archiving
Digital Archiving
DINASIF ensures the long-term availability of all published articles, so that they remain accessible even in the event of server disruption or if the journal ceases publication. Archiving is carried out through the following layers:
1 PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) All DINASIF issues are automatically archived through the PKP PN, a LOCKSS-based (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project. The PKP PN stores copies of published content across a distributed network of servers and ensures that it remains available if the journal is no longer accessible.
2 National indexes and databases Article metadata and full texts are also stored in Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), while article metadata and DOIs are registered with Crossref, ensuring that articles remain permanently discoverable and citable.
In addition, authors are permitted and encouraged to archive the published version of their articles in their institutional repositories, as described on the Copyright page.
