Author Guidelines for Genta: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah dan Humaniora

1. Article Title

  • The title should be between 10-14 words, concise, and informative.
  • Use Times New Roman, size 14, bold, single-spaced.

2. Author Details

  • List the full name(s) of the author(s) without abbreviation.
  • Include affiliation(s) with institution name and country.
  • Provide an email address for each author.

3. Abstract and Keywords

  • The abstract must summarize the research within a single paragraph of up to 250 words, covering the background, objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
  • The abstract should be written in both Indonesian and English.
  • Include 3-5 keywords (lowercase), arranged alphabetically (A-Z).
  • Format: Times New Roman 11, bold for the section heading.

4. Introduction

  • The introduction should cover the background of the problem, problem statement, research objectives, gap analysis, novelty, significance, and a brief literature review.
  • Ensure clarity and logical flow. Use references from reputable journals to strengthen arguments.
  • Format: Times New Roman 12, bold, single-spaced.

5. Method

  • Clearly describe the research methodology, including the design, subject or object, research setting, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.
  • Format: Times New Roman 12, bold, single-spaced.

6. Findings and Discussion

  • Present research findings aligned with the research objectives using tables or figures if necessary.
  • Discuss the interpretation, implications, relationship with theory, strengths, weaknesses, and any new insights or theories.
  • Format: Times New Roman 12, bold, single-spaced.

7. Conclusion

  • Summarize the research conclusions and provide suggestions based on the findings.
  • Format: Times New Roman 12, bold, single-spaced.

8. References

  • Authors are required to use Mendeley or another citation management tool to format references.
  • A minimum of 20 references from reputable journals is mandatory.
  • References must follow the APA style guide and include only works published or accepted for publication.
