PENINGKATAN LITERASI DATA DI ERA DIGITAL: SINERGI UNIPDA DAN BPS KABUPATEN SIDOARJO

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires the younger generation to have adequate data literacy skills. This community service activity was carried out in the form of a worshop under the theme “Building Data Literacy in the Digital Era: Synergy of UNIPDA and BPS,” which aims to improve students’ understanding and skills in accessing, managing, and interpreting data wisely. The participants were all students of Universitas PGRI Delta Sidoarjo (UNIPDA). The activity was held face-to-face at the UNIPDA Auditorium. Implementation methods included material presentations, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and interactive quizzes. Results showed high enthusiasm from participants, marked by active engagement in discussions. Students gained real insights into filtering valid data, the importance of metadata, and statistical data collection methodologies. This activity also strengthened the institutional synergy between UNIPDA and BPS in education and statistical competency development.
