STRATEGI PENERAPAN 4 KATA AJAIB DALAM MENANAMKAN NILAI SILA PANCASILA KE-2 UNTUK PENANAMAN KARAKTER BAGI SISWA KELAS 3 UPTD SDN MLAJAH 2
STRATEGY OF IMPLEMENTING 4 MAGIC WORDS IN IMPLEMENTING THE VALUES OF THE 2ND PANCASILA PRINCIPLE FOR CHARACTER IMPLEMENTATION FOR GRADE 3 STUDENTS OF UPTD SDN MLAJAH 2
Abstract
This study aims to describe the strategy for implementing the four magic words—please, sorry, thank you, and excuse me—as a strategy to instill the values of the second principle of Pancasila in third-grade students at the UPTD SDN Mlajah 2. Through habituating the four magic words, it is hoped that students will be able to develop good character in their environment. The method used was a case study with a qualitative approach, involving data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with teachers and students, and a questionnaire to determine students' perceptions of the importance of the four magic words. The results showed that teachers implemented the strategy through daily habituation, embedded in Pancasila Education lessons, providing direct examples, and using media such as reminder posters. Students demonstrated positive behavioral changes, such as using more polite words in interactions, respecting teachers, and demonstrating empathy and courtesy towards peers. Although not entirely consistent outside the classroom, the application of the four magic words has proven effective in strengthening students' character. The strategy of habituating the four magic words is a simple yet effective way to instill the values of just and civilized humanity as stated in the second principle of Pancasila.
