ANALISIS PEMECAHAN MASALAH MAHASISWA FARMASI DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PROBABILITAS
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the problem-solving abilities of fourth-semester Pharmacy students at PGRI Adi Buana University in solving probability problems. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with the subjects consisting of fourth-semester students from the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. The research instruments included a problem-solving test in the form of probability essay questions and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that improving the problem-solving abilities of fourth-semester Pharmacy students at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya, should focus on: (1) strengthening the understanding of fundamental probability concepts, (2) providing practice problems based on pharmaceutical contexts, and (3) fostering habits of reflection and answer evaluation. Therefore, probability learning in the Pharmacy Study Program at UAB Surabaya, is expected not only to enhance students’ computational skills but also to develop their analytical and reflective thinking abilities.
